Well, it's been awhile since my last posting here - not that the world stopped in its tracks or anything due to my non-posting for the last few months.
It's been a busy time... plus I've just been very lazy and unmotivated about documenting my life. Not just related to blogs... I kept a pretty active journal since my junior year in high school, through my college years, all the way into when I lived in CA, and into moving back to the Midwest in the mid 90's. I don't keep up to date with it much anymore, since I'm relatively better adjusted (or, for you fellow cynics out there, just more jaded) and I don't feel the need to record every stress and trauma that occasionally befalls me.
That's very bad, since that's the core meat of enterprises such as this - which only means that I won't be getting any book deals anytime soon.
I have been working on stuff for the next issue of MICRO-FILM (due out around Feb. '05) and a piece I did about the movie SHOCK TREATMENT (the RHPS follow-up - NOT 'sequel') is in the current issue [#14] of CASHIERS DU CINEMART, which should be out on shelves now.
The BIG thing taking up a lot of time is the DV short that I shot in late summer and am now currently editing - it's called "LENEXA - A Journey to the Heart of Darkness" and it should be out in circulation next year. Eventually, I'll put up a page with info on it. The first third of the film is done and the final cut should be done before Christmas.
